First trip to Kuching (Year 2012)

My first visit to Kuching way back in year 2012. It's a big city but quiet.

I've been to many places in Kuching in that trip but I did not took much photos, maybe next time! :)

Let's show you some nice foods in Kuching.

This is one of the recommended must try in Kuching - 面家汤 Noodle Descendents. Please remember to bring your patience along if you want to try this. You may need to queue for seats, yes, just seats, for 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the crowd. After you get your seats, you'll need to wait for your turn to order. The staff have quite good memory, they do remember which customer came in first and they will go table by table to take your order. You have to share table with others sometimes. After ordering, you'll need to wait another 30 minutes to 1 hour for food, depending on the crowd. I have no idea what takes them so long to serve just noodle and ready cooked soup, and this is the only reason to cause the long queue.

This noodle is super delicious. You can never get the same taste in other places.

This soup is good as well. It looks like the mix pork soup of Yam Rice in Penang, but the taste is slightly different, Yam Rice's mix pork soup taste better in my opinion.

面家汤 Noodle Descendents
Lot 18, Ground Floor (Padungan Road),
93100 KuchingSarawak.

This Sarawak Laksa has been voted as one of the best in town. This is true. Looks like Penang curry mee - this is my first impression. :) You can get Sarawak Laksa from this stall - Poh Lam Laksa, it's located at the front, you won't missed it.

Had fried oyster and poh piah from other stalls as well. They taste so so only.

泉春茶室 Chong Choon Cafe
Lot 121, Jalan Abell, Section 3, 93100, Kuching, Sarawak.

This is something special to me. Midin, its name. You can order this in any restaurant. Stir fry Midin with belacan is the best combination. I love it!
