Gold Coast Morib Resort (Year 2013)

A 2D1N trip with friends to explore Morib. Let's look around this resort first.

The room is very spacious. Ahhh... So comfortable.

But.... the bathroom is really smelly. Lucky that the smell doesn't spread over the room. The flushing system was that bad??

From the balcony, you can see this small water theme park. The best place for family day, the kids really have fun.

Let's explore more about this resort.

It's going to be different at night. There will be singing performance and you can enjoy the night with some drinks here.

Beautiful, isn't it?

First trip to Kuching (Year 2012)

My first visit to Kuching way back in year 2012. It's a big city but quiet.

I've been to many places in Kuching in that trip but I did not took much photos, maybe next time! :)

Let's show you some nice foods in Kuching.

This is one of the recommended must try in Kuching - 面家汤 Noodle Descendents. Please remember to bring your patience along if you want to try this. You may need to queue for seats, yes, just seats, for 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the crowd. After you get your seats, you'll need to wait for your turn to order. The staff have quite good memory, they do remember which customer came in first and they will go table by table to take your order. You have to share table with others sometimes. After ordering, you'll need to wait another 30 minutes to 1 hour for food, depending on the crowd. I have no idea what takes them so long to serve just noodle and ready cooked soup, and this is the only reason to cause the long queue.

This noodle is super delicious. You can never get the same taste in other places.

This soup is good as well. It looks like the mix pork soup of Yam Rice in Penang, but the taste is slightly different, Yam Rice's mix pork soup taste better in my opinion.

面家汤 Noodle Descendents
Lot 18, Ground Floor (Padungan Road),

This Sarawak Laksa has been voted as one of the best in town. This is true. Looks like Penang curry mee - this is my first impression. :) You can get Sarawak Laksa from this stall - Poh Lam Laksa, it's located at the front, you won't missed it.

Had fried oyster and poh piah from other stalls as well. They taste so so only.

泉春茶室 Chong Choon Cafe
Lot 121, Jalan Abell, Section 3, 93100, Kuching, Sarawak.

This is something special to me. Midin, its name. You can order this in any restaurant. Stir fry Midin with belacan is the best combination. I love it!

Manmaru Homemade Udon @ Midvalley

This is a self-service restaurant which I think this is the main cause of the queue and a mess in collecting order. Not everyone is a fast decision maker. Probably they need an improvement on the ordering process.

Kake Udon RM 10.90.

Curry Udon RM 12.90.

Wakame RM 2.00

Enoki Tempura RM 1.50, Yasai Croquette RM 1.50, Tori Karaage 2 pcs RM 4.00 and Green Tea (Ice/Hot) RM 1.50.

They have variety of Udon for selection, various side dishes for order and various fried side dishes for selection.

Miam Miam @ One Utama

A new restaurant where you'll see queue from 7.30pm onwards (weekends). It will not take you long even if you queue.

Miam Miam Spaghetti - Sauteed with frankfurters, tomatoes, baby spinach and protein. Tossed with french butter, our secret broth and shoyu.
Squid Ink Pasta (RM 26.80) - Pasta tossed in Extra Virgin olive oil, Ikasumi and squid rings. This is delicious! Taste like fried hokkien mee. :)

You see!! haha... not a recommended choice for a first date, especially. But it can be easily rinse with water, no worry.

One of the recommended items by this restaurant - Riz Au Curry (RM 26.80) - Baked rice with homemade Japanese curry, chicken frankfurters, broccoli, cheese and egg. Not bad and it's really filling.

The most recommended item - Famous French Toast (RM 16.80). You'll need to wait for 20 - 40 minutes depending on the crowd. This is nice!!

I've tried both their Matcha and Vanilla Souffle. The Matcha flavor is just nice but the vanilla one was abit too sweet.

Ecole P @ Damansara Utama

Ecole P is a place full of memories.

If you know the famous Village Park Nasi Lemak, you can easily find Ecole P, as they are at the same block.

Along the way when you went up to first floor for Ecole P. It is not recommended for big group, as they only had one or two tables for big groups. They also had limited tables, do go early, the day I visited Ecole P was a Saturday, at around 1 pm, the restaurant was full, unless you don't mind to sit at the open air area. Another reason to go early is that certain dish needs time to be cooked.

Not enough to recall your childhood memories? Scroll down to discover more.

First they served you this. The chocolate bear biscuit is my favourite!

iPad does not exist in my childhood time. LOL. This iPad is their beverage menu.

Their food menu is the exercise book which you can see above.

Here comes our drinks. Left: Power Ranger (RM 8.90) and Right: Johnny Bravo (RM 8.90).

Every table hangs a school bag, wondering what is inside?

Inside the bag only have a pencil box which contains spoons and forks. haha!

Egg Fried Rice (RM 15.90) - Green pea egg fried rice with salted egg served with Ecole P chicken chop. Thumbs up for this!!

Chicken Tandoori Sandwich (RM 17.90) - Don't really enjoy this as the bread is really really hard.

Chicken Wings (RM 12.90) - braised in Sprite and Coke. It taste very Sprite and Coke, that's it.

Will come back again some day to try the rest.

The Shepherdoo @ One City

I was surprised to see The Shepherdoo in One City, I thought they operated in Klang only. It's a good news, I don't have to travel all the way to Klang for first visit. :)

The Shepherdoo's Gringo Burger (RM 23.80). FYI, it's a beef burger. I strongly recommend you to try this. It's delicious! The beef patty was juicy and tender.

Have a closer look at the burger.

Songs of The Sea (RM 24.80). It's spicy. I didn't really enjoy it very much.

Absolute Sundae (RM 10.00). This is not bad.
