It's quite scary to stand on 10th floor and look down.

This is a very nice place for dating, it's beautiful.

Well, One City is still developing, should come next time when more shops are opened.

火炉爱 Korean & Japanese BBQ @ SetiaWalk

他们刚开始营业的时候就被他们的店名给吸引住。由于好奇所以一定得去试试看。奇怪的是，去光顾的时候发现招牌上的"Japanese"这个字不见了。

I was attracted by its name - Korean & Japanese BBQ. So, we went and tried on the next week. And I wonder, where is the word "Japanese"? It was taken away from its signature board. 

他们就位于Tokyo Kitchen的隔壁。

It's located next to Tokyo Kitchen restaurant.

环境不错，而且不会有很重的烧烤味。

Comfortable ambiance and no strong BBQ smells too.

我们点了2-3个人的套餐 （RM 59）, 韩国泡菜 （ RM 5 ）还有 生菜 （RM 5）。我们还在想 生菜还要另外加钱吗? 原来啊，他们会帮你添加泡菜和生菜。

We ordered this set for 2 - 3 pax (RM 59), Kimchi (RM 5) and Lettuce (RM 5). We were quite surprise that they refill Kimchi and Lettuce.

这个套餐包含了五花肉、猪蹄和腌过特制酱油的猪肉。
This set consists of Pork Belly, Pork Shoulder and Pork in Soy Sauce.

你只需要轻轻松松坐下来等吃，因为服务员会帮你烤。
You just need to sit and enjoy your food, the staff will cook for you.

我是没问为什么这家店要命名为Korean and Japanese BBQ啦! 掌柜太的那个女人和穿便服的男人（我猜想他就是老板吧）应该都是韩国人吧! 那为什么叫 Korean and Japanese BBQ? 难道他们其中一人是日韩混血 或者他们当中一个人是日本人而另一个是韩国人? 哈哈... 真是瞎猜。

Well, I didn't ask why it was named Korean and Japanese BBQ. The lady who man the cashier counter was a Korean I guess, and there was also a man wearing casual unlike the other staff wearing uniform, I assume he is the Korean boss. Why call Korean and Japanese BBQ? Were one of them a mixture of Japanese and Korean or either one of them is a Japanese and another one is a Korean? haha... guessing too much.

Fried Hokkien Mee @ Mei Yen Restaurant

名不虚传 - the best description for their fried hokkien mee. I'm loving it!!

Fried Hokkien Mee for 2 - BIG!! and very nice!! I finally found one hokkien mee which could compete with the one I like most in Hong Lai Restaurant @ Setapak.

上汤啦啦 - one of their famous items. Another recommended one would be 炒啦啦. Very very very BIG bowl. Is this the standard size? I'm not sure. A lottttttttttt of La La were given. A little negative comment - the ginger smell was too strong, I still like the 上汤啦啦 from Restaurant New Peng Wah @ Damansara Jaya.

清炒番薯叶。Another big serving. My goodness, do they have a smaller portion? 

But this meal doesn't cost us much at all, around RM 30 if I'm not mistaken.

According to information from blogger, they are closed every Tuesday, but I went once on Monday and they were closed, not sure if they changed their off day.

 They were famous for their dumplings. So here we are to try.

This is the recommended Dynasty Dumpling (RM 25.80) with 8 flavors - Original, Foie Gras, Black Truffle, Crab Roe, Ginseng, Cheesy, Garlic and Szechuan. The only one i like is the Szechuan flavor. 

In their menu, they even teach you how to eat the dumplings. Please eat it the moment they served to your table.

木樨肉炒面 Fried 'La Mian' RM 15.90. So so. Normal. Nothing great.

上海炒饭 Shanghai Fried Rice RM 16.90. So so. Normal. No different with normal home cooked fried rice.

Waroeng Penyet, The Curve

I had Ayam Penyet few years back and I still remember how crispy it is. But I feel disappointed with the Ayam Penyet here.

You have to place your order at the counter. If you need time to think, you can get an order chit and pencil from them. Paid when you order and they will give you a number. You will be served shortly.

Their serving system needs improvement. I've been seeing the waiter and waitress holding the food tray walking in and out to look for the table number given (as below).

This is what we ordered. No set meal available during weekend. (-.-)lll  Expensive.

The Avocado Juice is RM 8.90, Coke is RM 4.00 and 2 plain rice at RM 3.80.

Ayam Penyet Paha is RM 8.90. Much below my expectation.

Ayam Panggang Paha is RM 9.90. This is slightly better than ayam penyet.

今天要推荐这家位于Sunway Pyramid 的 Paradise Inn 。虽然菜色的选择算是普遍，你会觉得去普通餐馆可以吃到更便宜的，可是这家餐馆的菜肴味道是不错的，常常满座的呢。

推荐他们的汤。好喝呢！这个是海底椰鹌鹑 Quali with Sea Coconut (RM 39.90)。这一锅汤可不小，可以添好几碗。

扣肉包 Pork Belly with Lotus Bun (RM 9.80).

姜芽棒鸡 Crispy 'Bang Bang' Chicken (RM 18.90)。

马来风光 Sambal Kang Kung (RM 15.00)。

都不错吃。

强记补品

We were late for dinner that day (about 9 pm plus), we missed all the selling fast items (ie. wild boar curry, coconut herbal chicken soup).

So, we only had these:

扣肉.

玻璃生菜。

参须鸡汤。

Simple, nice and affordable dinner. I forgot how much it costs, about RM 20 plus i think, reasonable.

According to information provided by other bloggers, they open from 4pm onwards, do go early to grab their specialty, or if you're looking for food at night, Keong Kee Herbal Soup would be a good choice.

P/S: If this is going to be your first visit, do take note that it is a stall located opposite Shaw Parade, you can see them at the road side, they've taken up part of the open car park area for business. I got it wrong at first when I saw a corner shop also named 强记补品 and it was not opened, then i found it further down from this shop.

Weekend Hi-Tea @ Big Apple Restaurant, Berjaya Times Square Hotel

We had a voucher for weekend hi-tea for 2 person. We tried our luck to walk-in without any reservation and we manage to get a table. :)  My first time to this restaurant. 

Let's see what food do they served for hi-tea.

This section they have rice, fish, chicken, vege, snack, salad, etc.

They had cold cutlets over here.

This is the DIY rojak corner.



Here, you can get stir fry vege from the cook.

 

They served roast lamb too. The satay corner next to this is "selling fast", everyone loves satay i guess. :)

Of course they served dessert. They also served ice cream and waffle here.

 Yummy!!!! 

I strongly recommend their roast lamb. I rate this as one of the best roast lamb i ever had! I had a lot that day.
