Perth (Year 2012) Day 4: The 3 Meals

Day 4 morning, we simply picked a cafe for a breakfast. Limited shops opened at about 8 something or 9 in the morning. I love English breakfast!

We were at Little Caesars Pizzeria for dinner that night. We were told this Pizzeria was voted as the world 2nd best pizza in the world. We had 2 pizza as above and Apple Strudel (picture below). Well, not bad. You should try.

This is something new to us at that time. We have no idea what is San Churro.

Hot Chocolate

Churros for Two
And so, this is the famous San Churro. Oh, the chocolates were too sweet. I'm not a chocolate lover.

Do come and have a visit if you are a chocolate fans.

And a year later after coming back to Malaysia, I only notice there were some shops selling Churros.

Kings Park

We had home-cooked dinner that night. After the dinner, our friends brought us to see the night scene of Perth.

Perth (Year 2012) Day 3: Brunch @ 44 King Street (CLOSED DOWN)

A friend of our friends brought us to 44 King Street for brunch before we moved on to our destination of the day. This restaurant located right opposite Channel. And according to Tripadvisor and their official FB page, they were already closed down end of 2012.

Not cheap though. And not to say good too. Normal and just acceptable.

Perth (Year 2012) Day 2: The 3 Meals of The Day

We had our breakfast at Croissant Express on the 2nd morning.

No luck! :)

I couldn't recall what is this. I remember we had this in a shopping mall's food court. We just simply order one and I remember our expression looking at it because this is exactly out of what we expected. LOL.

@ Mad Mex

In the evening, our friends brought us to this Mexican restaurant called Mad Mex for Burrito. This is my first time having Burrito. It's nice but I don't like to have black beans. Burrito - soft flour tortilla with brown rice, black beans, pico de gallo, cheese, lettuce and sour cream. You can add your choice of filling and salsas.

There are a few Mad Mex outlet in Perth itself - Brookfield Place, Claremont, Hay Street, Hillarys Boat Harbour, and Subiaco.

Burrito

Drinking wine is like drinking water in Western country? I find myself having a lot of wine in Perth, especially dinner time, our friends ordered it. I couldn't recall what's the purpose of drinking this, suddenly there's a glass of wine handed to me, at home.

Perth (Year 2012) Day 2: Perth City

For the next few days, we're on our own. We will be exploring the Perth City. Basically it's easy to travel around the city, you can walk or take a bus with a map. Most tourist attractions are placed near to each other. I like to walk when travel so that I can really see the place I visited.

Let's start our walking journey.

Perth Town Hall
Completed in 1870, this delightful Victorian Gothic landmark was completely restored in 2005. It is the only convict-built capital city town hall in Australia, and a fragment of the original convict roll is on permanent display in the foyer with other City of Perth memorabilia. Generally open 11:00AM-1:00PM weekdays, but phone 08 9229 2965 first because it is sometimes closed for private functions. Free historic tour every Thursday at 2:00PM. (Source: Tripadvisor)

Any meaning for this???? Looks like kebab. LOL

When you see all the tall buildings, you are near to one of the attraction - The Bell Tower.

The Bell Tower
The Bell Tower is one of the largest musical instruments on earth and was custom built to house the historically significant bells of Saint Martin in the Fields Church, the parish church of Buckingham Palace in Trafalgar Square, London.

One of Western Australia's most unique and visited attractions, The Bell Tower offers tourists fascinating displays on these famous bells and the ancient art of bell ringing, as well as stunning 360 degree views of Perth city skyline and the Swan River from the sixth floor open air observation deck.

The Bell Tower is the only place in the world where you can view bell ringing in action or where you can even have a go at bell ringing yourself in one of their interactive demonstrations.
